Voyage à Nancy (1-3.3.2018)

Pictures from our voyage to Nancy on March, 1-3rd, 2018 - Bilder von unserer Reise nach Nancy (Lothringen) vom 1-3. März 2018.

We stayed near the station in a very modern hotel and ate at the Brasserie Excelsior, exhibiting a marvelous and original all art nouveau room. It was freezing cold with a strong cold wind, fortunately abating somewhat over the days.

We also visited the Place Stanislas and the museum of the so called "Nancy School of Art nouveau", where artefacts from Emile Gallé and Daum Frères are exposed and arranged in rooms. We also saw the marvellous collection of Daum Vases at the "Musée des Beauc-Arts" of Nancy, where one was not allowed to take pictures, a bit more here.
